Hotel for Heroes - The Hotels for Heroes program provides hotel rooms to the families of wounded, injured, and ill military service members who are undergoing treatment at authorized medical centers when a Fisher House is not available. Rooms are made possible through the donation of rewards points by the hotel's rewards members.
How Does Veteran Housing Assistance Work with Apartments - In 2018, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development gave 87,000 vouchers to help veterans find permanent housing. HUD-VASH provides veterans who are homeless with rental assistance vouchers for privately-owned housing. SSVF helps find affordable housing options for veterans through various non-profits and grantees.
Made in America Store - Mark Andol has one requirement for the products he stocks at his retail store: They have to be made in America - 100 percent, from product to packaging. Andol gives veterans a 5 percent discount, knows of no other retailer who goes so far to feature U.S.-made goods.

Operation Shoebox - We accomplish our mission with care packages, letters, and bulk shipping of items that can be beneficial to them during their deployment. Our Organization is composed of over 1300 dedicated volunteers in three locations and also volunteers all across the USA that assist in accomplishing our mission. The initial gear was expanded to include Doggles to protect their eyes from the blowing sands, Muttluks to protect their feet from the hot sand and asphalt, which is melting in the 140 plus degree temps and sticks to their feet, causing burns, and not allowing them to dissipate their extra body heat since dogs “sweat” through their feet. Plus Mutt Muffs to protect their ears whentransported by helicopter, a FURminator to keep their coats in top shape, collapsible lightweight water bowls that can be used for both food and water and allows no water to be wasted, and one toy for them to enjoy during their “down” times.
